The room was new-fashioned and neat, the bathroom was fairly clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were amiable. Its location at a medium distance from Ludwig Museum was amazing. It was located in a quiet area just next door to the train station and the bike hire shop and Cologne for a night, a fabulous base for me:)))

The room was tidy and functional than in photos and my experience was really great! There were a fridge and a stove.
Unfortunately my room was a bit small.

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating: when I checked in they offered me one of the quietest rooms they had, and when one of my electrical outlet adapters/converters burned out they lent me a replacement to use. For a no-frills stay it was perfectly adequate: the rooms were clean, and the location was excellent.
The various rooms seemed to be all sorts of shapes, sizes, and layouts. The "double" I was given was very compact, and I was glad that my travelling companion had a change of plans, because it would have been almost impossible for two people to actually stay in the "double".

It was a bit challenging to find the hotel and driving to it is not recommended as it is down a narrow street and there is no parking readily available in the vicinity. The quality of the accommodations was appropiate for the cost of our stay. I would think it would be better suited for backpackers because it is in a good location to explore the nearby attractions.

Very decent stay nothing fancy at all and it was close to the train station (10 min walk) not near much but def. Served its purpose and it was clean and not dissappointing
Not near anything todo really a little pricey for what it was but it was a big event weekend and everything was expensive

There's a lot to like about this hotel. It's in a great location and has unlimited free internet, a fridge, a stove and some dishes and a large cable tv selection. It's extremely quiet and sunny (well, when the sun is out :-). They have a strange system (that isn't immediately obvious) if you arrive when no staff is present: you press a bell and they let you in. They then call you on a phone in the hallway and give you a code to a small safe in which room keys are located. It's strange, but it works (it would have been helpful if they had a clearer sign saying that you need to pick up the phone to get your key). But otherwise, I liked this hotel very much and would gladly stay there again.
The towels are way too small. I suggest you bring your own. Staff is only available from 10:00-20:00. I would have loved to have had a microwave, but I guess that would raise room rates... Also, my bathroom was very small (but it was functional and not really a problem for me).

We were happy to get admitted in the hotel, hours earlier than the regular check-in time. Great location, near the train station and the city centre but also quiet! Very clean room, spacious with kitchen and in a very good price.
Although we were admitted earlier than the programmed check-in time, we were sent to a single room on the third floor. They forgot to change our room to a double-bed that we had booked and we had to ask the next day to get what we had booked! Also there was no elevator to the floors.

The queen room was wonderful and new-fashioned, with central heating, coffee/tea making equipment, and multi-channel TV. This hotel was located in a very central area right by the central station, everything-the main station, Cathedral, and cathedral and train station.

Very clean and tidy room with a good shower room suitable for tall people such as myself. It looked recently refurbished.
A noisy conversation could be heard by my partner. Quite cramped accommodation. No reception, but we got lucky: the door was open and we met the person who gave us the key to our room in the corridor.
